My group and I have finally finished the filming and editing. I am glad to say that I have learned a lot during this process. I was able to improve on conducting specific moods through filming, and how the angles and lighting play such important roles in the setting. I am very satisfied with the outcome of my video, although it has been a bit stressful at times. The editing part was by far the toughest, while filming went overly smoothly, thanks to my great group mates. By comparing the music video to my commercial, I am seeing great changes an efforts. Not only the acting got better, but my skills in filming and editing as well. By exploring the editing app I’ve used, I discovered many new options that have greatly helped me achieve my goal by creating a well-made commercial. In conclusion, I am far from being disappointed and I am highly grateful for my great group mates that have made it easier to make a good project. I look forward to continue working with them in the future.

Production Blog/last shots

Today was the day. The day we shot the last clips we needed to shoot in order to finish our music video. A bit before the bell rang, Brianna and Angie went to the bathroom to change into the same clothes that they wore during the first filming day. After that, the bell rang. We all grabbed our ice creams, and clinked them, then put our spoon in our mouth. This scene was supposed to represent one of the happy moments of the main character. Once that was done, we had one scene left to shoot. We had previously found a cute place right next to the ice cream shop, so we decided to head there. We all put our stuff down and started filming. In that scene, we linked arms an

Throughout the project, my group and I had to face many challenges. First, we had a hard time having the perfect lighting. To be more precise, we wanted to portray a sad, heartbreaking atmosphere. However, when we were filming, it was the middle of the day. Because my room has a lot of lighting, it was difficult to have a dark lighting. Fortunately, we ended up figuring out how to solve that problem. We adjusted the brightness in the settings of the camera, and we were then able to have the perfect lighting that we desired. Not long after that, around 12 PM, we decided to go to the mall and to the restaurant to film some scenes, but at the same moment, one of my group mates received a call from her mom telling her that she cannot leave my house without an adult. That situation messed our schedule up. We were then not able to shoot the necessary scenes outside of my house. After talking and thinking about a solution, we decided we would film those scenes another day after Thanksgiving b
